To remember

• Type of dressing
  
  “Gauze & tape” is preferred in case of:
  1. Perspiration
  2. Oozing of blood
  3. Poor adherence
     
• If all other situation: use transparent adhesive dressing
• CVC dressing adherence must be perfect
  

Important

Do not use transparent adhesive dressings to cover gauze swabs

Do not apply two transparent adhesive dressings on top of each other
